As the Quantitative Analyst, you will support the monitoring, optimisation, and enhancement of collections strategies across the portfolio. Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse collections portfolio performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of collections strategies and operational outcomes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting packs, and performance metrics.
- Support collections strategy optimisation through data analysis and actionable recommendations.
- Assist with the implementation, testing, and monitoring of new collections initiatives and treatments.
- Partner with collections and operational teams to improve recoveries and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting and analytical processes.
- Present findings and insights to key stakeholders to support decision-making.
Job Experience and Skills Required
Qualifications
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Data Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
Experience
- Experience within a Quantitative Analytics, Collections Analytics, Credit Risk Analytics, or Retail Banking Analytics environment.
- Previous exposure to collections strategy monitoring, reporting, and performance optimisation.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into business recommendations.
Skills
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with SAS, Python, R, or similar analytical tools would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
