Quality, Technical & Warehouse/Yard Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced and responsible Quality, Technical & Warehouse/Yard Supervisor to join our Gauteng operation.

The successful candidate will oversee the quality and technical aspects of removals, warehouse and storage operations, fleet/yard activities, stock control, and the supervision of operational staff .

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise removal teams  and ensure furniture is dismantled, assembled, packed, transported, and handled correctly.

• Manage warehouse and storage operations , including receiving, dispatching, stock control, inventory, palletised storage, and documentation.

• Supervise staff  across removal, warehouse, yard, and storage areas.

• Inspect goods, vehicles, equipment, and stock  for damage, quality issues, and correct loading.

• Assist with specialist work , including grand pianos, high-value items, artwork, carpentry, and minor repairs.

• Oversee fleet and yard operations , including vehicle inspections, CCTV monitoring, security, and night-shift duties.

• Maintain compliance  with company procedures, safety standards, quality controls, and operational protocols.

• Identify improvements  to make warehouse, removal, and yard processes more efficient and accountable.

• Support management  with administration, reporting, planning, stocktakes, and general operational duties.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.

• Strong carpentry, woodworking, handyman and furniture assembly skills .

• Valid Code 10 driver's licence and PDP will be advantageous.

• Forklift experience/licence will be beneficial.

• Computer literate with good administration and reporting skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans .

• Ability to liaise professionally with clients.

• Own reliable transport.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, public holidays.

• Must have sober habits and a responsible work ethic.

Package & Remuneration

R20 000 - R30 000 CTC per month.
