Our client is seeking an experienced, results-driven Quality Manager to lead quality excellence at their manufacturing plant in Botswana. Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the site's entire quality control and assurance department, managing on-site inspectors, technicians, and engineering stakeholders.
- Maintain, develop, and enforce robust quality management systems and international compliance standards on the production floor.
- Implement and manage critical automotive quality core tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and lead structured root-cause analysis to mitigate operational defects and production downtime.
- Partner closely with plant operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to drive strict adherence to manufacturing excellence.
Key Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen (essential for the client's localized hiring and visa framework).
- Proven track record in a Quality Management or Senior Quality Assurance role.
- Deep knowledge of automotive parts manufacturing, assembly, or related heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of automotive quality core tools and strict international compliance regulations.
