QUALITY GRADUATE (AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENT MANUFACTURING) - Silverton
One Year Fixed Term Contract
An established automotive manufacturing company is seeking to appoint a Quality Graduate on a one-year fixed-term contract.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- National Diploma / BTech / BEng / BEng Tech in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 1 to 2-years automotive manufacturing experience
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Data analysis and reporting
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Technical report writing
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Key Responsibilities
- Support customer and internal quality concerns and investigations.
- Assist with PPAP submissions and engineering changes.
- Conduct product and process audits.
- Analyse quality metrics, including PPM, scrap, warranty, and audit findings .
- Support corrective and preventive action activities.
- Update PFMEAs, Control Plans, and inspection standards .
- Support product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
