- We are seeking a seasoned Quality Controller QC to join our client's dynamic team in Centurion. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all manufactured aluminium parts meet strict quality standards. You will work closely with a team of setters and operators, overseeing production processes and implementing quality assurance protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on aluminium parts produced by Fanuc CNC machines.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and internal quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with setters and operators to identify and resolve production issues.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Controller in a manufacturing environment preferably aluminium or precision engineering.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, particularly Fanuc machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with setters, operators, and management.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate will be advantageous.
