- A reputable manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector – Trainee to join their team Vereeniging. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in quality control, good attention to detail, and experience working with inspection and measuring equipment.
- This role offers an opportunity to develop within a structured Quality Management environment while supporting quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control inspections on incoming goods, production parts, sub-assemblies, and completed products.
- Perform dimensional inspections using equipment such as verniers, micrometres, height gauges, and various gauges.
- Conduct quality checks on repaired, serviced, calibrated, and manufactured equipment.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 and Quality Management System procedures.
- Generate non-conformance, corrective, and preventative action reports where required.
- Manage quality records, certificates of calibration and conformance, and related administration.
- Perform SAP goods receipts, stock transfers, and processing of quarantined or failed items.
- Assist with stock takes, dangerous goods packing, pre-packing, and quarantine management.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar quality control environment.
- Experience using inspection, measuring, and testing equipment is essential.
- Knowledge or experience with ISO 9001 implementation, awareness, or auditing.
- Quality Control, Internal Auditing, or relevant certification is advantageous.
- TQMS Diploma is advantageous.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
- SAP experience would be advantageous.
