Qualified Welder - Brandfort

Introduction

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Welder to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance welding, repairs and new fabrication projects while ensuring high standards of safety and workmanship.

Duties & Responsibilities

 Perform welding repairs and maintenance on machinery, equipment, buildings, and steel structures.

 Manufacture and install new steel fabrications according to specifications.

 Conduct inspections and identify maintenance requirements.

 Operate welding, cutting, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.

 Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and quality requirements.

 Assist with general maintenance and workshop duties when required.

 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Desired Experience & Qualification

Willing to relocate to Brandfort, Free State.

 Minimum 3 years of welding experience.

 Proven maintenance experience in an industrial, agricultural, or manufacturing environment.

 Experience with new steel fabrication and installation.

 Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.

 Willing and physically fit to work at heights.

 Knowledge of welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding will be advantageous.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

 Valid driver's license will be advantageous.
