- A reputable motor dealership in Hillcrest is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join its workshop team.
- The successful candidate must be a trade-tested Motor Mechanic with strong practical servicing, mechanical repair and fault-finding abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor and major vehicle services.
- Carry out routine vehicle maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
- Inspect and test vehicle components.
- Perform general repairs and replacements.
- Complete job cards and workshop documentation.
- Ensure all work meets workshop quality standards.
- Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified, trade-tested Motor Mechanic.
- Minimum 3–5 years' practical automotive experience.
- Strong mechanical repair and servicing knowledge.
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Previous motor dealership workshop experience advantageous.
- High standards of workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's licence preferred.
Salary & Benefits
- R15,000 – R18,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience.
