Qualified Diesel / Earthmoving Mechanic

Company in Rustenburg is urgently looking for a Qualified Diesel / Earthmoving Mechanic Reputable and growing company operating within the earthmoving and heavy equipment industry, is looking for a skilled and reliable Diesel / Earthmoving Mechanics to join their team. The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Duties • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and earthmoving equipment • Perform routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and inspections • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults • Ensure all equipment complies with safety and operational standards • Complete job cards, maintenance records, and reports accurately • Attend to breakdowns on-site and in the workshop • Maintain a clean and safe working environment Requirements:** • Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Trade Test Certificate – Red Seal preferred) • Proven experience working on earthmoving equipment (e.g., excavators, articulated dump trucks, bulldozers) • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (Code 10 or higher advantageous) • Ability to work independently and under pressure • Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills • Willingness to work overtime and attend to breakdowns when required • Must have own tools Salary: R150.00ph neg and based on exp Email detailed cv with all Certificates and contactable ref's to Bernadette@shaunette.co.za
