  • Applying to our CASA training programme is easy, and you can do so at any time during your studies, including grade 12.
  • If your application is successful, your learnership will begin after your honours degree is completed or once you've received your Certificate in the Theory of Accounting CTA.
  • You'll be performing audit procedures at various clients in different industries, resulting in an opinion on their financial records. You will progress steadily throughout the three years of articles to qualify as a chartered accountant CA SA.

Requirements

  • If you are a scholar/ just completed school—grade 12 with matric exemption and university acceptance.
  • Your subjects must include mathematics and English maths literacy doesn't qualify and you must have an average of 65% for all your subjects.
  • If you are currently studying, then you must be pursuing a SAICA-accredited undergraduate/post graduate degree at a SAICA-accredited university.
  • Proficiency in English is a must, together with strong communication skills.
  • Curious mindset, wanting to solve complex problems.
  • Digital readiness or a willingness to learn.
