- Implement effective negotiation strategies to close deals with the best possible purchase prices.
- Lead and partake in strategic sourcing activities from supply chain to fixed costs of the business.
- Prepare the annual Purchasing budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans.
- Update and manage procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade: 12 Matric Certificate
- Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration.
Skills
- Energetic and change / improvement focused.
- Flexible, active and forward thinking.
- Good communication oral and written & interpersonal relations skills.
- Must possess management and leadership skills with emphasis on leading and motivating staff.
- Pro-active, highly motivated and pay attention to detail
Experience
- Experience in a Managerial role - 5 years
- Previous automotive experience will be an advantage - 0 year
