POSITION PURPOSE
We are looking for a hands-on Property & Project Manager with 5+ years’ experience in property, facilities or a similar technical environment . The successful candidate will manage a mixed portfolio of commercial, industrial and residential properties, overseeing maintenance, renovations, construction projects, contractors, tenants, utilities and technical building systems . Strong practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, security/access control and building systems is essential. Duties & Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage commercial, industrial and residential properties.
- Oversee maintenance, renovations and construction projects .
- Lead maintenance teams and manage contractors.
- Handle tenant queries, leases, inspections and access control.
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, security and building systems .
- Manage solar, borehole, water, CCTV, alarms and access control systems.
- Manage municipal accounts, compliance, fire safety and insurance.
- Review quotations, costs, invoices and contractor payments.
- Liaise with tenants, suppliers, contractors and professional service providers.
MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years’ experience in property, facilities management or a similar hands-on role.
- Strong experience managing maintenance, projects and contractors .
- Practical technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing and security systems .
- Good Excel and computer skills.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel to Gqeberha when required.
ADVANTAGEOUS
- Technical/trade qualification.
- Experience with solar, boreholes, water filtration, CCTV, alarms and access control .
- Lease administration and South African property compliance experience.
