Your future role

  • Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
  • You'll play a pivotal role in coordinating supply chain activities for projects, from tender to closure, ensuring seamless integration with the Project Core Team. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business Project Managers, Procurement, Industrial teams, align supply chain processes with industrial requirements, and manage vendor relationships, among other responsibilities.
  • You'll specifically take care of designing supply chain networks during the tender phase and driving key activities during project ramp-up, but also address change management and secure project closure.

We'll look to you for

  • Designing supply chain processes and committing to direct costs during the tender phase
  • Setting up and synchronizing supply chain processes to meet industrial requirements
  • Managing supplier-related risks and ensuring logistics specifications are met
  • Coordinating supply chain activities during planning or technical changes
  • Addressing material availability and anticipating shortages
  • Securing the end of production while minimizing costs and obsolete inventory

  • Relevant NQF Level 7 qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business/Commerce, or a related field
  • Fluency in English
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, planning, or materials management, preferably in a project-based industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience coordinating supply chain activities across tender, ramp-up, execution, and closure phases
  • Knowledge of ERP systems for materials, procurement, inventory, BOMs, or planning
  • Strong ability to deal quickly and effectively with a variety of topics
  • Effective communication and result-driven mindset
  • Experience managing suppliers/customers, delivery risks, and logistics flows
  • Desirable: Project Management training and exposure to manufacturing/project environments
