The successful candidate will build strong relationships with mining clients, EPCs and consulting engineers while preparing technical proposals, quotations and tender submissions.
Education
- Mechanical Engineering qualification
- NDip, BTech or Degree in Mechanical Engineering advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Identify and develop new pump-project opportunities within mining
- Manage the complete project-sales process from enquiry to order
- Conduct customer and site visits to establish technical requirements
- Select suitable pump solutions based on client applications
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations and tender documentation
- Build relationships with mines, EPCs, contractors and consulting engineers
- Coordinate with internal engineering, service and project teams
- Maintain an accurate project pipeline and sales forecast
- Negotiate commercial terms and close project opportunities
