You will be responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships and taking technical water treatment opportunities from initial enquiry through design, costing and proposal to successful order placement.
The role combines technical sales, process engineering and project development, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys both the technical and commercial side of the industry.
Education
- BTech or BSc Engineering Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Equivalent relevant engineering qualification may be considered
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Develop new business within commercial and industrial water treatment markets
- Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and developers
- Design and specify water treatment systems according to client requirements and water analyses
- Perform process calculations, equipment sizing and system selection
- Prepare technical proposals, project costings and tender submissions
- Develop process flow diagrams, equipment specifications and project documentation
- Negotiate and follow up quotations to drive sales conversion
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams on technically compliant solutions
- Support FATs, commissioning, troubleshooting and plant optimisation
- Provide technical and after-sales support to customers
