Introduction

• Blasting and Coating Supervisor – 2 position

• Abrasive Blasters – 2 positions

• Industrial Painters/Coating Applicators – 2 positions

• Coating Assistants – 4 positions

Civil works

• Civil Supervisor – 1 position

• Civil Artisans/Concrete Workers – 1 positions

• Civil Assistants – 4 positions

Electrical works

• Industrial Electricians – 1 positions

Instrumentation and Fuel Management Systems

• Instrument Technicians – 1 positions

Desired Experience & Qualification

Applicants must possess a recognised trade qualification, technical qualification or competency certificate appropriate to the position. Candidates should have relevant experience in fuel depots, petrochemical facilities, oil and gas installations, tank farms, process plants or similarly regulated industrial environments.

Applicants must be able to

• Work safely within a permit-to-work environment.

• Comply with site HSSE, quality and environmental requirements.

• Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments and daily planning.

• Work in confined spaces or at height where the position requires it.

• Read drawings, specifications, procedures and work instructions relevant to their trade.

• Produce or complete inspection, test and quality records where applicable.

• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary construction and commissioning team.

• Pass the project’s medical fitness, induction and competency-verification requirements.

POSITION-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Coded Welders

Valid coding for the applicable welding process and material. Candidates must be prepared to complete project-specific qualification or verification tests.

Boilermakers and Pipefitters

Experience with storage tanks, structural steel, nozzles, manways, tank-bottom repairs, piping, valves, flanges and fabrication from drawings.

Welding/Mechanical Inspector

Recognised welding or mechanical inspection qualification, with experience in welding documentation, traceability, inspection and test plans, repair control and mechanical completion dossiers.

Coating Personnel

Experience in abrasive blasting, surface preparation, environmental-condition monitoring and application of industrial protective coating systems. Coating inspectors should hold a recognised coating inspection qualification.

Electricians

Recognised electrical trade qualification. Industrial or petrochemical experience involving motors, drives, earthing, lighting, distribution, hazardous areas, testing and commissioning is preferred.

Instrument Technicians

Recognised instrumentation qualification and experience with calibration, loop checks, level instruments, alarms, control wiring, field devices and Fuel Management Systems.

Mechanical Fitters/Pump Technicians

Trade-tested mechanical fitting experience involving pumps, couplings, alignment, bearings, seals, valves and rotating-equipment commissioning.

Civil Personnel

Relevant civil construction experience involving concrete repair, tank bases, bunds, joint sealing, drainage, walkways and associated remedial work.

Safety Personnel, Gas Testers and Fire Watchers

Relevant safety training and valid competency for the appointed function. Experience with hot work, confined spaces, working at height, lifting operations and hydrocarbon facilities is preferred.
