Our client is looking for a seasoned professional with at least 8 years of experience, ideally in retail and interior fit-outs, to manage projects from concept through to completion. This opportunity would suit someone who can balance design intent with practical construction delivery.
Requirements: · Minimum 8 years’ project management experience, preferably in retail, commercial interiors, or interior fit-outs.
Education: A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Building Science, or a related field. · Demonstrable experience managing contractors, project budgets, timelines, and on-site delivery. · Good understanding of construction methods, interior finishes, materials, and technical drawings. · Strong leadership, negotiation, planning, and stakeholder-management skills. · Proficiency in project scheduling and reporting tools would be advantageous.
Key responsibilities: · Manage interior fit-out projects from initial planning and design coordination through to final handover.
· Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal design teams.
· Develop project schedules, monitor budgets, and ensure deadlines are met.
· Oversee site activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
· Identify project risks and resolve operational challenges efficiently.
· Maintain regular communication with clients and project stakeholders.
· Ensure completed projects meet the required design standards and client expectations.
