Project Manager - Retail

We are seeking a capable and energetic Mid-to-Senior Project Manager to join a fast-paced Customer Applications Solutions Delivery team.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of software and technology projects within a complex retail environment.

The ideal candidate will have retail experience, together with relevant exposure to payments, value-added services, SAP integration and/or customer loyalty solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage software and technology projects from initiation through to implementation and closure.
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, plans, timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Take full ownership and accountability for delivering projects on time and to the required quality standards.
• Apply appropriate project delivery methodologies, governance standards and controls.
• Coordinate cross-functional business, technology, vendor and delivery teams.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions and change requests.
• Track delivery progress and provide clear, accurate reporting to stakeholders and governance forums.
• Facilitate project meetings, planning sessions, workshops and decision-making forums.
• Support the delivery of customer-facing solutions involving retail systems, payments, VAS, loyalty platforms and SAP integrations.
• Maintain complete and accurate project documentation and governance artefacts.

Required Experience

• Proven project management experience delivering software or technology projects.
• Demonstrated accountability for delivering projects within agreed timelines.
• Practical experience applying recognised project management methodologies and governance processes.
• Previous experience within a retail environment.
• Relevant experience in one or more of the following:

• Payments
• Value-added services
• SAP integration
• Customer loyalty programmes or platforms

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary business and technical teams.
• Strong project planning, reporting, risk, issue, dependency and change-management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
