- RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable Building & Civil Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Cape Town team on one of their latest projects as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and deliver construction projects safely, on time and within budget.
- Develop and monitor project programmes using MS Project.
- Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Manage project costs, budgets, cash flow and commercial performance.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, quality, Health & Safety and environmental requirements.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Chair project and site meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Identify and manage project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional registration with SACPCMP essential.
- Minimum 10 years' Project Management experience within the construction industry.
- Proven experience managing building and/or civil construction projects from inception to completion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project MS Project.
- Valid driver's licence essential.
- Strong leadership, planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
