Lead the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives that support the client's Clean Architecture transformation. Drive execution across multiple teams, ensure alignment between business and technology objectives, establish delivery excellence, and create an environment where teams can consistently deliver high-quality, scalable and customer focused solutions. This role forms a key part of the client's strategic technology transformation journey. The Project Manager will lead a newly established team focused on enabling and accelerating the organisation's Clean Architecture roadmap. The successful candidate will be expected to quickly establish credibility, provide delivery leadership, drive accountability across teams, and ensure strategic initiatives are successfully executed from concept through implementation. The role requires an individual who is comfortable operating across business, technology, architecture, QA, operations, and executive stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on delivery outcomes, quality, and customer value. Detail: Description: Strategic Leadership & Transformation Lead delivery initiatives supporting the client's Clean Architecture roadmap. Build and establish delivery practices for a newly formed strategic team. Drive alignment between architecture, product, development, QA, operations, and business stakeholders. Challenge assumptions and proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and customer outcomes. Influence decision-making at all levels through data, analysis, and clear communication. Create visibility of delivery risks, dependencies, technical debt, and strategic priorities. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, ownership, and execution excellence. Act as a trusted partner to architects and technical leaders in shaping delivery strategies. Lead, mentor and develop project resources assigned to the team. Establish a high-performance culture focused on accountability, quality, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement. Ensure initiatives delivery measurable business value and support strategic organisational objectives. Project Delivery & Execution Create, maintain, and track project plans and schedules, problem logs and progress throughout the life of the project. Developing project scopes and objectives. Ensure the requirements are clearly defined and thoroughly understood by the software team. Manage day-to-day activities of the software team to ensure each project remains on schedule and within resource budget. Ensure resource availability and allocation, conduct software team meetings, troubleshoot technical issues, and facilitate the deployment of software upgrades. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within resource budget. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Offer leadership, guidance and motivation to software team while resolving internal conflicts. Apply respective methodologies and principles within the team with the aim to improve productivity of the team, create a transparent environment, better communication with stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Report and escalate any critical issues to management. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders and provide timely feedback. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Ensure the work tracking system (DevOps) is always up to date. Ensure communication between stakeholder and the developer is efficient and no unnecessary time is wasted. Where technical support or production issues need attention, delegate the work towards the best suited resource and manage the work effectively. Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer goals. Manage changes by developing workable implementation plans. Communicate changes effectively. Manage customer expectations. Ensure system releases are frequent, efficient and error free. Ensure internal and external reporting mechanisms for projects and productivity are standardised and used Stakeholder Management Build strong relationships with business leaders, architects, developers, QA and operational stakeholders. Facilitate alignment across competing priorities and conflicting stakeholder needs. Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly and proactively. Translate technical concepts into business language and business requirements into actionable delivery plans. Ensure stakeholder expectations remain realistic and aligned throughout delivery. AI & Digital Productivity Leverage approved AI tools to improve planning, reporting, analysis, documentation and communication. Drive adoption of AI-enabled productivity practices within the team. Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency through AI-assisted workflows. Use AI-generated insights to identify risks, trends, bottlenecks, and optimisation opportunities. Ensure responsible, compliant, and secure use of AI technologies in line with company governance standards. Remain informed of emerging AI capabilities relevant to project delivery and operational excellence. Demonstrate practical proficiency in AI tools and continuously identify opportunities to increase individual and team productivity through AI adoption. Delivery Excellence & Governance Ensure DevOps / GitHub remains the primary source of truth for project execution and reporting. Develop and maintain project dashboards, delivery metrics, and executive reporting. Establish governance frameworks that provide transparency, accountability, and delivery predictability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and customer outcomes. Ensure system releases are frequent, controlled, efficient, and low risk. Monitor support trends, defects, and delivery metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Lead recovery efforts for projects experiencing delivery challenges. Manage cross-team dependencies, architectural constraints, and delivery sequencing to support successful transformation outcomes. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management, or related field. Minimum 3+ years experience management software development or technology projects. Proven experience delivering complex cross-functional initiatives. Strong Agile project delivery experience. Experience working with architecture, development, QA, and business teams. Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, GitHub or equivalent delivery management platforms. Demonstrated experience reporting to senior leadership and executives. Advantageous: PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum Master or equivalent certification. Experience leading architecture modernisation or platform transformation initiatives. Experience applying AI tools within delivery environments.
