Job Title: Project Manager Start Date: 2026-07-24 - 2026-08-19 Vacancy Type: Permanent CPT006719 Sectors: Engineering & Technical Location: Western Cape , CPT - Northern Suburbs Salary: Brief: Our client based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and successfully delivering electrical engineering projects from initiation through to completion. The role acts as the primary liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Detail: Requirements: Grade 12 Accredited Project Management qualification Electrical Engineering qualification (advantageous) 5+ years' experience managing engineering or electrical projects Experience within the EC&I industry specifically Food and Beverage Sound knowledge of EC&I installations Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Experience engaging with clients and senior management Valid driver's license Willingness to travel to client sites when required Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and budgets. Manage project resources and coordinate activities between Design, Workshop, Installation and Support departments. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Interpretation and understanding of P&ID Exposure to instrumentation and automation Monitor project progress and communicate updates to clients and management. Identify project risks and implement corrective actions where required. Manage project variations, amendments and additional scope of work. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to specification. Ensure all project documentation is completed and maintained. Facilitate project close-out, handover documentation and client sign-off.
