• Manage mechanical engineering projects from planning through to completion. • Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets and resources. • Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing and quality teams. • Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders. • Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation. • Monitor project costs, quality, scope and deadlines. • Identify and manage project risks and changes. • Provide project progress reports and ensure successful project handover. REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering BEng/BSc/BTech or equivalent. • 5+ years' experience in mechanical engineering and/or project management. • Experience managing engineering, manufacturing or industrial projects. • Strong project planning, budgeting and coordination skills. • Strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering. • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. • Proficiency in MS Office; MS Project advantageous. ADVANTAGEOUS
- Experience in valves, pumps, piping, mining, petrochemical, oil & gas, water or process equipment .
- ECSA registration.
- Project Management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
- ERP/project management system experience.
