Start free — we apply for you →- We're looking for a Project Manager, Grinding to join our Project Delivery Grinding team. Your work will play a key part in delivering complex technical projects while supporting sustainable growth and long-term customer partnerships.
- You will report to the Manager, Project Delivery Grinding .
- This role will be based in Centurion, South Africa , with a hybrid working model.
Team you belong to
- You will join our Project Delivery Grinding team, working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Construction, Contract Management, Sales, customers, and cooperation partners.
- The team is focused on delivering high-quality grinding solutions and successful project outcomes across the mining and minerals processing industry.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end execution of minerals grinding projects, including planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and close-out.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements throughout all phases of project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and proactively resolving project issues.
- Manage project scope, contract requirements, change control processes, and project interfaces.
- Take responsibility for project budgets, profitability, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and resource activities to meet project schedules and objectives.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks while implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a matrix organization.
What you'll bring
- Solid experience in EPC/M project management within mining and minerals processing environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical projects in international environments.
- Strong understanding of customer requirements, project execution methodologies, and site installation activities.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, commercial performance, and contract obligations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower teams, manage performance, and drive results.
- Excellent planning, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures, stakeholders, and matrix organizations.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to project execution.
- Professional communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with SAP, Enovia, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, or similar business systems and project tools.
- High level of ownership, reliability, adaptability, and ability to work independently.
