Project Manager (Commercial Projects)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage construction programmes, timelines and project logistics across multiple sites.
• Take overall accountability for projects from planning through to handover.
• Direct and manage Site Managers across active projects.
• Appoint, coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with OHS standards and regulations across all sites.
• Monitor workmanship and quality standards and resolve defects.
• Act as the key liaison between clients, consultants and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, programme reporting and financial records.
• Manage day-to-day operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to programme, budget and required quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 7 years' experience in commercial, retail, fit-out and/or hospitality construction.
• Proven experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and Site Managers.
• Strong understanding of construction site logistics.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Knowledge of OHS standards and construction compliance.
• Proficient in MS Project and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Own smartphone capable of running company software.
• Willingness to travel nationally and remain on-site/in-region for the duration of projects.
