- As a Project Coordinator FTTH , you'll play a key role in keeping fibre projects moving from order acceptance through to a live, active connection. You'll coordinate clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure installations are completed smoothly, accurately and within agreed timelines.
- You'll be the coordination engine behind the project, keeping everyone informed, managing the workflow, resolving issues proactively and making sure our customers receive the service they expect.
What You'll Be Responsible for
- Coordinate the end-to-end workflow of FTTH orders, from acceptance through to the Acceptance Certificate and final activation on the network.
- Manage the commissioning and delivery of products and services.
- Provide regular and accurate project updates to end clients and the Service Delivery Manager.
- Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager, contractors, clients and internal departments to keep projects progressing.
- Coordinate the ordering of equipment and other requirements needed to complete installations.
- Manage relationships and communication with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Arrange site installation dates and site meeting requests with relevant internal teams.
- Monitor project progress and proactively escalate challenges or delays for resolution.
- Ensure agreed service levels, daily order targets and connection targets are achieved.
- Follow defined workflows and liaise with the relevant internal departments to ensure a seamless delivery process.
- Maintain accurate project information, documentation and reporting.
- Plan and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met.
What You'll Bring to the Role
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
- A BSc IT or Diploma in IT would be advantageous.
- At least 2 years' experience with a sound understanding of telecommunications .
- At least 2 years' customer service experience .
- At least 1 year of project administration experience .
- Experience within the fibre optic network or telecommunications industry would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of telecommunications, particularly Voice, Data and Last Mile environments, would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
