Programme Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide strategic direction and oversee programme implementation. Manage and improve programme systems, ensuring smooth daily, monthly, and termly cycles. Analyse programme data, maintain reporting platforms, and respond to field insights. Build strong relationships within programme communities and resolve queries quickly. This person is the beating heart of each of the programmes and leads building culture. Convene and lead weekly planning meetings with clear tracking and reporting. Write compelling reports for donors, partners, and school-based teams. JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS Degree in a related field, such as in the education sector. A Project Management qualification is an advantage. Has at least five years of experience in leading complex programmes in the CSI, public schooling sector, and is familiar with the debates, complexities and social dynamics in the sector. Proven experience in building relationships in the no-fee public sector or corporate social investment. Proven experience in managing data systems. (Requires advanced skills in data analysis tools such as Excel/Google Sheets). Energetic leader who inspires teamwork and drives delivery. Strong analytical and storytelling/report-writing ability. Cause driven and determined to serve the best interests of both beneficiaries and donors. Competencies: Presenting, Structuring, Creating support, Organisational sensitivity, Persuasiveness.
