- Liaise with key stakeholders i.e., the PICC/ISA, provincial structures, and the various project partners on an ongoing basis to build resilient professional relationships.
- Arrange and undertake project site visits, project partner meetings, SIP Coordination Forum meetings, and ad-hoc task team meetings, as may be required.
- Maintain a stakeholder contact database on an ongoing basis.
Project Progress Monitoring
- Undertake regular field visits to projects and monitor on-site project progress.
- Prepare quarterly project reports using inputs from implementing agents, including conducting trend analysis as required.
Identifying & Addressing Project Challenges or Bottlenecks
- Investigate and highlight obstacles to project implementation in association with project partners.
- Explore possible interventions and provide advisory for fast-tracking projects in collaboration working with SIP Coordinators, implementing agents and the PICC/ISA.
Integration across SIP Projects
- Identify and provide advisory on opportunities for synergistic integration of project elements both within the SIP and across other SIPs.
- Facilitate, in association with project partners, skills development and localization.
Support to SIP management and governance
- Prepare and make regular presentations on program coordination to the SIP Technical Committee, key project partners, including a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
- Make strategic contributions to the sessions and deliberations of the PICC/ISA Governance Structures i.e., Technical Task Team, Manco, etc as required.
Publication, presentation, and dissemination of knowledge-based products.
- Present professional papers at national and international conferences and author articles in peer-reviewed publications.
Requirements
- B Degree/B Tech or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in an infrastructure project environment, with at least 3 years in a project management role. Project advisory experience would be an advantage.
