• An appropriate doctoral qualification in Construction Management. • Possess 610 years of higher education experience as a Professor and additional 2 years at the Associate Professor level, with at least 5 years in Construction Management. • Skilled in postgraduate teaching and supervision. • Demonstrable record of research publications in accredited international and national publications. • Demonstrate the ability to raise research funds and lead research projects. • A minimum of five-years Construction Management experience. An added advantage for candidates would be:
- Registration with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) or similar internation registration relative to Construction Management.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Association of Construction Project Management (ACPM) or similar professional associations.
- An ability to theorise using indigenous languages, particularly those spoken in the Eastern Cape.
