- We are looking for an experienced Professional Quantity Surveyor PrQS to join a growing team in KwaDlangezwa.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional quantity surveying services across construction projects, with strong commercial and contractual knowledge
Requirements
- Professionally registered PrQS.
- 6+ years' experience after PrQS registration.
- Strong experience within the construction and quantity surveying environment.
- NEC contract experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management and project administration.
- Excellent analytical, financial and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage quantity surveying functions across assigned projects.
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets and financial reports.
- Monitor project costs and expenditure.
- Manage valuations, payment certificates and final accounts.
- Assess variations, claims and contractual matters.
- Monitor project progress against budgets and timelines.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements.
- Provide professional quantity surveying advice throughout the project lifecycle.
