Key Responsibility Areas

Responsible for Quantity Surveying and Development Cost Management services on special and major projects.
Prepare, supervise and mentor technical/ professional personnel who are team members of the projects.
Undertake research into new and strategic trends pertinent to the profession and implements same as necessary.
Provide input into the setting up and maintenance of standard documentation i.e conditions of the contract, affirmative procurement conditions of tender and data banks.
Prepare budget and detailed estimates, cash flow forecasts and tender board report costs for long and short term projects.
Undertake financial valuations of new and existing buildings, prepares schedules of defects and report on the same with analytical costs.

Bachelor of Technology or Advanced Diploma NQF Level 7 in Quantity Surveying or any other related and equivalent qualification.
Registration as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession SACQSP.
Valid motor vehicle driving license.
5 Years relevant experience.
Computer Literacy.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Technology or Advanced Diploma NQF Level 7 in Quantity Surveying or any other related and equivalent qualification.
Registration as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession SACQSP.
Valid motor vehicle driving license.
5 Years relevant experience.
Computer Literacy.
