Key Responsibility Areas

  • Responsible for Quantity Surveying and Development Cost Management services on special and major projects.
  • Prepare, supervise and mentor technical/ professional personnel who are team members of the projects.
  • Undertake research into new and strategic trends pertinent to the profession and implements same as necessary.
  • Provide input into the setting up and maintenance of standard documentation i.e conditions of the contract, affirmative procurement conditions of tender and data banks.
  • Prepare budget and detailed estimates, cash flow forecasts and tender board report costs for long and short term projects.
  • Undertake financial valuations of new and existing buildings, prepares schedules of defects and report on the same with analytical costs.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor of Technology or Advanced Diploma NQF Level 7 in Quantity Surveying or any other related and equivalent qualification.
  • Registration as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession SACQSP.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license.
  • 5 Years relevant experience.
  • Computer Literacy.
