- Matric, Diploma/Degree in nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council as Professional Nurse. Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
Knowledge and Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal. Strong ability to work within a team. Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines. Knowledge of policies and protocols of department of health.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing treatment and care to patients in a cost effective and equitable manner. Perform a clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards as determined by the relevant health facility. Provide safe patient care. Manage patients records according to relevant legislation. . Demonstrate and understanding of nursing legislation and related ethical nursing practice. Manage and monitor proper utilisation of human, financial and physical resources.
