Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Production Planner.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Check and confirm that Sync job units and RAWS matches to SAP job.
- Consolidate jobs in both Sync and Sap programs.
- Issuing of jobs to the fabric and trims departments for picking based on priority Chase List.
- Ensuring Sync tasks are completed correctly and on time.
- Update Chase list with current Sync statuses.
- Monitor and update Sync Production Planner.
- Raise PO’s to external vendors using both Sync and Sap programs.
- Liaise and communicate with internal departments, Technical, Inventory, Warehouse & Sales.
- Track and follow up on jobs through the entire production process from picking to dispatch.
- Ensure jobs are completed in time and in full.
- Monitor and follow through on cycle counts.
- GRV raw materials into both systems.
- Update Chase lists.
- Track Bond and Rebate store receipts and requests.
- Assist with Stock Takes and Cycle counts.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric with at least two years experience in a similar role.
- Textile Qualification would be advantageous.
- Strong Sync and Excel system skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team Player.
