Production Manager

A senior manufacturing opportunity is available for an experienced Production Manager to manage production performance in our client’s facility. The successful candidate will ensure targets, quality standards and operational requirements are achieved

Key Responsibilities: Manage daily production operations and ensure production targets are achieved Develop and monitor production schedules and resource requirements Lead, motivate and develop production teams Monitor production output, efficiency, downtime and waste Identify production constraints and implement corrective actions Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and quality requirements Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise equipment downtime Monitor raw material usage and control production losses Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives Analyse production performance data and compile operational reports Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements Maintain high standards of housekeeping and operational discipline Participate in audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented

Minimum Requirements: Matric Diploma Operations Management 5 - 7 Years Production Management experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes Experience managing and developing production teams Understanding of quality, health and safety requirements Problem-solving and decision-making skills
