What You'll Gain This programme will provide exposure to:
• Manufacturing Operations • Production Planning • Continuous Improvement • Engineering Support • Quality Systems • Supply Chain Operations • Project Management • Operational Leadership You'll receive structured on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring from experienced manufacturing professionals.
Key Responsibilities You will:
- Support daily production operations to ensure safe, efficient and reliable manufacturing.
- Monitor production performance and key manufacturing KPIs.
- Analyse production data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in problem-solving and root cause analysis activities.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
- Assist with production trials, process improvements and documentation.
- Present project updates and improvement recommendations to leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Operations Management (or equivalent)
- Recent graduate
- Strong academic record
- South African Citizen or legal authorisation to work in South Africa
Skills We're Looking For
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Excellent communication skills • Strong planning and organisational skills • Ability to work well within cross-functional teams • High learning agility and curiosity • Passion for manufacturing and continuous improvement Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or a manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
Working Environment This is a full-time Graduate Programme based within a manufacturing environment in Rosslyn, Pretoria. Shift work may be required depending on operational requirements, and all safety procedures and PPE requirements must be adhered to.
