This pivotal role combines quality assurance, innovation leadership, and regulatory compliance to ensure products meet the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and consumer trust. Detail: OPPORTUNITY Join a forward-thinking FMCG company committed to innovation and regulatory compliance Lead projects that directly impact consumer trust and market success Work in a collaborative environment where quality meets creativity Key Responsibilities Quality Control & Compliance Lead QC operations to maintain compliance with R638, GMP, and R146 labelling regulations Ensure labelling accuracy and compliance with local and international food regulations Conduct supplier audits and manage corrective actions Implement continuous improvement initiatives across production and compliance processes Product Development Drive new product development from concept to launch, including trials, sensory testing, and market readiness Training & Leadership Train and mentor staff on QC, hygiene, and labelling SOPs Criteria Degree/Diploma in Food Science or a related field Minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG quality control and product development Strong knowledge of R146 labelling compliance Proven track record in managing audits, regulatory inspections, and product launches Excellent communication and leadership skills High level of computer literacy Proficient in English and Afrikaans (read, write and speak) show more...
