- As a Product Marketer, you'll connect product development, sales, marketing, and regional strategy teams to drive market adoption and commercial success. You'll shape compelling product positioning, create engaging messaging, and deliver go-to-market strategies focused on localization, digital adoption, and B2B growth across key African regions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the launch of new products and features, coordinating cross-functional teams to support effective market entry.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of go-to-market plans and ensure effective integration across departments.
- Develop core messaging, value propositions, and differentiated product and brand narratives for diverse audiences.
- Analyse customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and changing market dynamics to inform strategy.
- Create marketing collateral, presentations, case studies, battlecards, and other sales-enablement tools.
- Partner with sales, product, and regional teams to align product marketing and commercial strategies.
- Develop integrated campaigns across social media, content marketing, SEO, and traditional channels to build awareness, demand, and engagement.
- Track lead generation, retention, satisfaction, and loyalty, using CRM and analytics data to improve performance.
Requirements
- Experience adapting global product marketing messages for diverse African audiences, particularly across SADC and West Africa.
- Ability to tailor strategies and content to local customer needs, cultures, and market conditions.
- Experience using digital and traditional channels to build brand visibility, adoption, engagement, and growth.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS and B2B technology markets.
- Proficiency in using CRM platforms and analytics dashboards to inform product positioning and marketing strategy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, product, marketing, and regional strategy teams.
- Strong storytelling, content creation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated product marketing, brand management, business development, and project management capability, including delivering multi-channel campaigns and product launches.
