Start free — we apply for you →- Our client seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Design Technician to support the design and development of mechanical products and components through accurate technical drawings, and practical problem-solving.
- The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles , attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks and projects from concept through to completion while supporting production and quality requirements.
- Must be proficient in mechanical drawing and design both 2D and 3D with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. The ability to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision with an understanding of production quality systems and new product development processes.
- A national diploma in mechanical engineering and/or a relevant trade test would be an advantage.
