- The Product Delivery & Operations Consultant manage the day-to-day product lifecycle activities, including product enhancements, pricing changes, execution and delivery across business units. The Consultant will support product development through research, product requirements and coordination of development actions across the business. Coordinate partner onboarding across Legal, Finance and Procurement, and manage day-to-day operations of Digital Service Provider partners.
Product Development & Support
- Support product development for consumer and digital products with Finance, Legal, UX, Marketing and Technology stakeholders
- Contribute to Product Requirement Documents, product concept briefs, Business Requirements Specifications and presentations
- Manage daily partner product activities, including reporting, vendor payments, product enhancements and partner engagements
- Conduct market and competitor scanning to identify product opportunities, features and capabilities
Product Lifecycle Management Enhancements & Pricing
- Manage the in-life product lifecycle from post-launch stabilisation through enhancements, pricing changes, migration and retirement
- Maintain the backlog of enhancements, defects and change requests, scope changes with delivery teams and support them through delivery
- Prepare and update product documents, including BRS/PRD, terms and conditions, customer journeys, SMS scripts and change requests, and obtain stakeholder sign-off
Partner Onboarding Management
- Coordinate onboarding across Legal and Compliance, Finance, Revenue Assurance, Billing and Procurement
- Maintain and version-control partner onboarding policies
- Manage partner agreements and addendums, and support contract renewals and terminations
DSP Operational Management
- Assist with day-to-day Digital Service Provider management, including order processing, change requests and troubleshooting
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree NQF 7 in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field
- Certifications in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Management Agile/Scrum or regulatory compliance POPIA/WASPA would be advantageous
Experience
Essential
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in product management, including requirements gathering, product enhancements, pricing changes, in-life management and reporting
- Experience collaborating with Legal, Finance, Billing, Revenue Assurance, Pricing, Segments, CVM, UX and Technology teams to deliver product outcomes
Preferred
- Experience in partner management or partner product development
- Experience with WASPs or Digital Service Providers, including content partner onboarding, relationship management and operations
- Analytical and reporting experience with large campaign datasets, with the ability to translate findings into product and executive-ready reports
