• Lead, coach and develop a junior procurement team, supporting their growth and development • Bring structure and strategic input to the procurement function and wider business • Review and challenge existing ways of working and implement more effective and efficient processes • Analyse procurement and business data and translate findings into clear, practical recommendations • Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies, cost savings and commercial value • Remain hands-on with procurement, sourcing and supplier-related activities • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and support effective sourcing strategies • Contribute to business development initiatives and identify opportunities for growth • Work closely with management to provide commercial insight and support informed decision-making • Continuously look for ways to improve procurement performance and add value to the business Consultant: Debbie Watkyns - Dante Personnel Cape Town
