- We're looking for a commercially minded Procurement Specialist who is ready to take procurement beyond the transactional and into the strategic. This role is all about creating value across the Group through smart sourcing, stronger supplier partnerships, effective spend consolidation, and procurement governance that enables better business decisions.
- As the Procurement Specialist, you'll work closely with the Group Procurement Manager and stakeholders across multiple business areas to lead sourcing initiatives, negotiate commercially sound agreements, improve procurement processes, and track measurable savings and cost avoidance.
- This is a hands-on specialist role for someone who enjoys influencing outcomes, challenging the status quo, and turning procurement insights into real business impact.
What You'll Do Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management
- You'll engage with teams across the Group to understand business needs, demand patterns, and category priorities, then translate these into practical sourcing strategies and category plans. You'll lead RFx processes, conduct market analysis, identify and evaluate suppliers, and help build a consolidated supplier base that supports value, quality, and efficiency.
- You'll also take ownership of supplier relationship management by monitoring supplier performance, assessing risk, and identifying opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.
Contract Negotiation and Spend Consolidation
- You'll lead commercial negotiations, support contract finalisation, and help secure favourable terms that protect the Group's interests. Once contracts are in place, you'll support their rollout across entities, ensuring stakeholders and suppliers are aligned and that intended benefits are realised.
- A key part of the role will be identifying Group-wide spend consolidation opportunities, rationalising suppliers, improving spend visibility, and using total cost of ownership analysis to unlock savings.
Governance, Reporting and Stakeholder Leadership
- You'll help strengthen procurement governance by drafting, refining, and finalising Group Procurement SOPs, policies, and Delegation of Authority documentation for approval. You'll also identify spend happening outside the P2P platform, Fraxion, and support its migration to improve compliance and visibility.
- You'll act as a central point of contact for procurement queries, support audit requests, provide clear reporting to the Group Procurement Manager, and share recommendations on category strategy, spend consolidation, supplier performance, supplier risk, and value improvement opportunities.
What You'll Bring
- A Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma.
- A qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, Business, or a related field; a qualification in Contract Management or Law would be advantageous.
- MCIPS, or actively working towards it, is strongly preferred.
- 4–5 years' experience in strategic sourcing or category management within a structured procurement function.
- Hands-on exposure to commercial negotiation, SOP and governance work, supplier relationship management, total cost of ownership analysis, and multi-entity or Group spend.

- Excellent stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence without direct authority
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
