Thorburn Security Solutions is seeking a proactive and detail oriented Procurement Officer to join our Finance team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional with strong supplier administration, procurement systems, and sourcing experience to contribute to a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain supplier, employee and item master data on D365.
Manage procurement categories, approved supplier listings and trade agreements.
Provide first line support on procurement systems to purchasing and logistics teams.
Support centralized purchasing activities and supplier onboarding processes.
Conduct supplier sourcing and market research.
Assist with tender administration and procurement documentation.
Draft supplier agreements and maintain procurement records.
Conduct spend analysis and support cost saving initiatives.
Ensure supplier compliance and BBBEE documentation is current and complete.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve procurement related queries.

Skills and Competencies

Qualifications

Procurement or Supply Chain qualification.
Previous experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain environment.
Experience with vendor management, contract administration, and procure to pay processes.
Experience working on ERP or eProcurement systems such as D365, SAP, or similar platforms.
