Job Title: Procurement Manager Start Date: 2026-07-22 - 2026-08-21 Vacancy Type: Permanent JHB006221 Sectors: Logistics, Warehouse & Freight Location: Western Cape , CPT - CBD Salary: R 50 000 - R 60 000 Monthly Cost To Company Brief: procurement manager|procurement supervisor|purchasing manager A well-established company based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team Detail: Minimum Requirements: Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or Senior Procurement Specialist Matric Strong international sourcing and supplier negotiation experience Import procurement and supply chain experience Sound knowledge of landed costing, freight and customs processes Experience negotiating pricing, payment terms, rebates and commercial agreements Strong understanding of inventory planning and stock optimisation Knowledge of NRCS, SABS, SARS and customs regulations Excellent commercial, analytical and negotiation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems Key Responsibilities: Source new and innovative products from international suppliers Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and commercial agreements Drive procurement savings and improve gross margins Analyse landed costs and identify cost-saving opportunities Manage import procurement, freight and customs processes Plan purchasing requirements based on demand forecasts Monitor inventory levels and ensure continuity of supply Process purchase orders and maintain supplier records Coordinate supplier payments, reconciliations and import documentation Monitor shipment schedules and communicate ETAs Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement and import regulations Monitor market trends, competitor activity and identify new product opportunities show more...
