Job Purpose

  • Accountable and responsible for the procurement and financial processes within his/her geographical scope.

In this Procurement & Finance Clerk position

  • Daily bank reconciliations and cash flow, and final bank reconciliation at month-end for current, dollar and call accounts.
  • Processing of creditors invoices and cashbook entries.
  • Reconciliations of accounts receivable and accounts payable and currency revaluations.
  • Monthly reconciliation of local DTM expenditure and income.
  • To provide administrative support to office management.
  • Update Pastel and importation splits.
  • Assist with creation of all purchase orders.
  • Ensure that all office supplies are in stock for both factories as well as office admin staff.
  • Ensure that purchase orders, quotes and invoices correspond to all orders placed on behalf of TOLT's before payments are authorized.
  • After verification, ensure that authorized invoices are on Pastel and ready for payment.
  • Arrange a stock replenishment order with suppliers on a monthly basis local and international.
  • Ensure that Purchase orders are sent out in time for suppliers to prepare and deliver our orders.
  • Control petty cash by accurately recording and balancing transactions.
  • Ensuring that there is always available Petty cash for day-to-day operations.
  • Authorizing AP's and entering the transactions in Pastel.
  • Add transactions on the bank.

  • Experience: More than 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, finance, accounting and/or audit background.
  • Experience in leading a small team will be an added advantage.
  • Education:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Finance or Accounting or Logistics.
