  • The Procurement Excellence Specialist will support the Procurement team in building and implementing world-class solutions that drive the strategy of the Procurement functional stream. The role will coordinate implementation above market and in-market, support problem solving, and help drive continuous improvement across procurement processes and solutions.

A day in the life of a Procurement Excellence Specialist

Support Procurement Excellence solutions by

  • Providing specialised knowledge to build and implement procurement solutions aligned to the Procurement vision.
  • Supporting the implementation of solutions in line with agreed working plans and timelines.
  • Coordinating implementation activities above market and in-market where required.
  • Supporting above-market and market procurement teams with problem solving linked to procurement excellence topics.
  • Identifying and escalating relevant information, data, risks or issues that may affect solution implementation.

Drive business insight and continuous improvement by

  • Working with procurement networks to design, develop and improve solutions.
  • Sharing best practices and gathering feedback on solution implementation.
  • Gathering data and business requirements to support procurement decisions and local requirements.
  • Helping map ordering, P2P channels and related procurement processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Preparing clear reports, insights and updates for procurement stakeholders.

Support sourcing, compliance and stakeholder delivery by

  • Supporting the local implementation of sourcing strategies, including new or changing items, services or suppliers.
  • Working with local business partners, sourcing teams and above-market category teams to communicate market requirements.
  • Supporting procurement compliance, risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship activities.
  • Helping integrate sourcing plans and outcomes into local budgets and price planning processes where required.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, suppliers and procurement networks across different teams and locations.

What will make you successful?

  • Experience developing or implementing initiatives within procurement, sourcing, process improvement or a related functional area.
  • Experience working in virtual, complex or multicultural environments across different organisations, locations or teams.
  • Good understanding of sourcing strategies, basic procurement policies, compliance and risk management.
  • Ability to gather data, analyse requirements, prepare reports and turn insights into practical actions.
  • Good business writing and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and geographies.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
