The ideal candidate will have a relevant Diploma or Degree in Business, along with 1–3 years' experience in a commercial purchasing, administration, or logistics environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time-management skills are essential, together with knowledge of purchasing and sourcing, stock control, and B-BBEE procurement requirements. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships. Ability to understand and interact effectively with suppliers and managers and attend to the needs of the company. Strong planning, organisational, and time-management skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain an organized, tidy, and accurately dated filing system. Strong document management and record-keeping skills. Knowledge of B-BBEE, with specific focus on the procurement element. Knowledge of purchasing and sourcing concepts. Knowledge of stock control. DUTIES: Act as the interface between suppliers and the organization with respect to specifications and budgets. Conduct supplier reviews to ensure the best service and pricing. Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers. Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and identify ways to reduce costs where possible. Review opportunities to achieve business savings. Ensure suppliers comply with terms of reference. Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers. Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and organisational targets and requirements. Contact suppliers to resolve pricing, quality, delivery, or invoice-related issues. Ensure all suppliers' B-BBEE certificates are valid and compliant with Group policy. Explore alternative sources for goods and materials. Manage problems and schedule changes to prevent delays in stock availability. Ensure the continuous supply of required goods and materials. Communicate any supply problems that may pose a risk to or impact business operations. Process goods received and complete Goods Received Notes (GRNs) on the IT system. Process returned spares from technicians' locations back to the warehouse. Create new coolers for Draught and Fountain and process credit notes to Location 811. Create new coolers received from ABI for Fountain and process credit notes to Location 804. Process requisitions and stock issues for special events. Assist the Draught team with queries relating to invoicing and shortages of spares. Request new item and asset creation using the relevant Excel templates. Assist with issuing and returning physical stock to and from technicians in the warehouse.
