Procurement Analyst Bellville

Our well established global engineering client in Bellville client is looking for a Procurement Analyst that analyses organizational spend data, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and monitors supplier performance. You will focus on tracking and optimizing Procurement spend to ensure compliance with the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.

Salary R 50 000 R 60 000 CTC all included – This is an EE position ONLY

Min Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, or Data Analytics.
  • CIPS qualification/membership is an advantage.
  • 5 years plus of experience in procurement analysis, spend analysis, or strategic sourcing in South Africa.
  • 2 years managerial experience of managing 3 staff
  • Experience from an Engineering, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Production or machinery – essential
  • Local and International Sourcing Buying experience
  • Experience with Imports and exports
  • Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, Modeling).
  • BI & Visualization - Power BI or Tableau.
  • ERP Systems: SAP (MM/Ariba), Coupa, Syspro, or Oracle.
  • Regulatory Knowledge - Sound understanding of South African B-BBEE Codes and Preferential Procurement calculations.
  • Cost Savings - Delivery against targeted direct and indirect cost reductions.
  • Preferential Procurement - Alignment of spend to corporate B-BBEE scorecard targets.
  • Reporting Timelines - On-time delivery of monthly procurement analytics packs.
  • Spend & Cost Analysis - Extract, clean, and model procurement spend data
  • Identify maverick (off-contract) spending and deliver cost-reduction/cost-avoidance strategies.
  • Maintain valid scorecards/affidavits
  • Project annual preferential procurement audit scores.
  • Tender & Sourcing Support - Build evaluation models for RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
  • Benchmark market pricing and assess supplier commercial bids.
  • Performance & Contract Tracking - Monitor vendor compliance against SLAs and track contract expiry dates/renewals.
  • Reporting & Dashboards - Develop and maintain automated dashboards (Power BI/Excel) reporting on spend by category, savings realized, and supplier lead times.
