- Blending of spirits products
- Transfer of neutral spirits and matured products
- Loading and off-loading of bulk trucks including fortification.
- Operate scale for measuring of flavours
- Sample management; retention samples, transfer samples for analysis, despatch samples including new blend approval, etc.
- Preparation of samples for organoleptic assessment and classification
- Emptying and filling of Solera system
- Operating drum filler machine.
- Operating Fish Eagle stabilization plant as well as Filtration
- Oversee filling of drums & containers for Export Orders
- Autonomous maintenance within the cellar
- Check bulk trucks before loading and complete evaluation forms.
- Discuss problem solving amongst team before escalating to management
- Escalate and follow-up on unsolved problems
- Assist in the monthly Bulk Stock Take process
- Execution of daily tasks are done to correct company procedures and work instructions
- Compliance with OHS Act standards
- Effective Record keeping
- Maintain cellar hygiene standards
- Apply strict loss control
- Effective record keeping
- Active participation in TPM Level 1 team activities
- Participate in effective problem solving
- The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
Minimum Grade 12
- 1 – 3 years relevant experience
- Be able to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of safety procedures and housekeeping standards will be advantageous
- Willing and able to work extended hoursovertime when required
- Willingness to perform ad hoc duties, including in other departments, when required
- Must be a team player
- Good interpersonal skills
- Punctuality and attendance reliability
- A valid Forklift License will be advantageous
