About the Role

Screen Graphics is seeking a motivated, analytical and detail-driven  Process Engineer  to join the team in Durban. This is an excellent opportunity for an Industrial or Mechanical Engineer with approximately 2–3 years of relevant experience who is ready to take ownership of production processes, drive continuous improvement and make a tangible contribution to a growing, established business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing, improving and maintaining production processes with a strong focus on Bills of Materials (BOMs), system accuracy, process efficiency and measurable productivity improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the company's systems

• Ensure zero BOM inaccuracies and maintain a high level of system and production data integrity

• Analyse existing production processes and identify opportunities for improvement

• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and areas of waste within the production process

• Implement process improvements that result in measurable productivity gains and improved efficiency

• Work closely with production and other departments to ensure system information accurately reflects actual manufacturing processes

• Investigate process variances and implement corrective actions

• Maintain accurate production and process information within relevant software systems

• Use production data to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Assist with developing and implementing more efficient methods of working

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (essential)

Experience

• 2–3 years' relevant work experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment

• Experience working with ERP, MRP, accounting, production or job-costing software

• Proven experience creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs)

• Practical understanding of manufacturing and production processes

• Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and deliver measurable process improvements

Technical Skills

• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Experience with production data analysis and reporting

• Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Hands-on, practical and commercially minded approach

• Ability to work effectively across departments
