Process Analyst – Finance Transformation

Cape Town | Hybrid Our client, a global leader in the media and communications industry, is looking for a Process Analyst to join their Finance Transformation team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong operational finance background who enjoys improving processes, driving efficiencies, and supporting finance transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience within finance operations and be confident working across end-to-end finance processes. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and evaluate existing finance processes to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency

• Map and document end-to-end finance processes, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Support finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the business

• Work closely with finance teams to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and support project delivery

• Analyse data and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making

• Identify opportunities for automation, process simplification, and improved controls

• Assist with testing, change management, user training, and the successful adoption of new processes and systems

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Shared Services and Finance teams to enhance operational effectiveness

What We're Looking For We're seeking candidates with practical, hands-on experience in finance operations, including:

• Accounts Payable (AP)

• Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

• Order-to-Cash (O2C)

• Record-to-Report (R2R)

• Reconciliations and month-end close processes

• Finance controls and governance

• Shared Services Finance environments

• Finance process improvement or transformation initiatives

You should also have

• Experience documenting and mapping business processes using tools such as Visio, Miro or Lucidchart

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to Power BI being advantageous

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

Preferred Experience

• Experience within a Shared Services environment

• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar

• Experience supporting finance transformation or continuous improvement projects

• Experience within the media, digital or professional services sector will be advantageous
