This role transitions oversight responsibility from manual human effort to technology-driven solutions, deploying AI agents to autonomously monitor QCTO/SETA compliance and learning workflows. The successful candidate will architect complex automated processes, manage vast data ecosystems, and strategically design “human-in-the-loop” synchronisation for edge cases requiring human judgement. Detail: Key Responsibilitie AI-First Oversight & Digital Transformation AI Agent Implementation: Deploy and manage AI agents (leveraging tools like Gemini and Google Workspace) to perform continuous quality assurance and oversight of learner recruitment, SETA registration, and EISA certification, replacing traditional manual auditing. Data & Process Architecture: Map and engineer complex data pipelines and automated processes that allow AI tools to continuously monitor regulatory compliance checkpoints, ensuring no “Evidence of Competence” is missed without creating human bottlenecks. Human-in-the-Loop Synchronisation: Identify specific compliance triggers, ethical considerations, or complex quality assurance failures that necessitate human intervention. Design seamless workflows that synchronise autonomous AI agents with human decision-makers. Automated Project Management & Quality Assurance Tech-Driven Compliance: Maintain a continuous “audit-ready” status by programming systems to auto-flag and auto-resolve standard compliance gaps, ensuring accreditation renewals and SETA uploads are never late. Continuous Agent Optimisation: Manage a digital backlog dedicated to training and refining AI agents through agile sprints, prioritising improvements that reduce audit risk or administrative friction. Stakeholder Support & Real-Time Monitoring Live Compliance Health: Build and oversee real-time, automated dashboards (e.g., Looker Studio) to give human stakeholders a live view of the AI's performance and the Academy's compliance health against SFIA and SETA/QCTO standards. Role Alignment: Act as the synchronisation point between the technical automation team, the AI systems, and the human regulatory compliance team (Assessors, Moderators, and Administrators). Qualifications and Experience Education: Degree or Diploma in Business Process Management, Information Systems, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3–5 years as a Process/Data Analyst, with specific experience in transitioning traditional business functions to AI-driven automated processes. Must have extensive knowledge of data manipulation and process re-engineering. Agile Certification: Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Project Management certification is highly advantageous. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in AI deployment (e.g., Gemini AI, autonomous agents) and automated workflow tools (Google AppSheet, Apps Script). Deep understanding of data structures and automated process mapping software (e.g., Lucidchart, Miro, or Visio). Understanding of the NQF, SAQA, and QCTO regulatory landscape. Core Competencies AI & Data Fluency: Deep understanding of how AI agents process data and perform oversight roles traditionally held by humans.
